This policy explains what personal data Farzan Pakistani Restaurant ("we", "us") collects when you use this website and our table QR ordering, why we collect it, and your rights under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
1. What we collect
- Phone number — when you place an order online or at a table, so we can link the order to you, contact you about it and show you your bill.
- Location — only when you send a QR order from your table. Your browser asks for permission, and we use your location once to confirm you are at the restaurant. We do not track you.
- Order details — the dishes, quantities, notes and amounts of your orders and bills.
- Payment results — when you pay online, our payment provider tells us whether the payment succeeded and its reference number. We never see or store your card number.
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends, such as IP address and device type, which our servers log for security.
2. How we use it
- To prepare, serve and track your orders, and to settle your bill.
- To contact you about an order, for example if an item is unavailable.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, such as fake orders from outside the restaurant.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- Moyasar, our licensed payment provider, processes online card, mada and STC Pay payments. Your card details go directly to Moyasar.
- Google Maps is embedded to show our location; Google may collect data under its own privacy policy when you view the map.
- Our hosting and technology providers, only as needed to run the website.
- Authorities, when required by Saudi law.
4. Cookies and local storage
- We store your language choice in a cookie, and your cart and order references in your browser's storage, so the site works as you move between pages. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal obligations. Location checks are used at the moment of ordering and are not kept as a history of your movements.
6. Your rights
- Under the PDPL you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or ask how it is used. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time the law requires.
